biscotti triple chocolate

Ingredients
  • vegetable spray
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup Kahula
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • FROSTING
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Steps
  1. 1.Oven 350F. Spray cookie sheet with vegetable spray
  2. 2. Sift flour with cocoa, bakin powder and salt into a bowl and set aside.
  3. 3. Beat sugar, butter, eggs, Kahula and vanilla together. Beat in flour mixtu.re and chocolate chips.
  4. 4. Divide the dough into 2 strips, 12 inches long, 1 inch high and 2 inches wide. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake 25 minutes.
  5. 5. Remove from heat and let cool. Using serrated knife slice the cooled strips diagonally and return them to cookie sheet.Bake for 7 minutes. Remove and cool. Frost if desired FROSTING
  6. 6. Bring water to boil in small pan. Whisk in sugar and cocoa and cook on medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently. Add chocolate chips and stir until they melt. let cool for 15 to 20 minutes. Frost biscotti
